This guy was pretty comfortable with me getting close so I was able to get several variations.  I'll post some more in the "Read More".

I wanted to stay and get more pictures of other butterflies but the mosquitos were terrible today.

It seems lately when I don't know what else to do I go close-up.

A wasp trying to move in above the thermometer.  I knocked it down after I took the photo.

Anybody know what kind of bug this is?

I had so much fun with the bugs yesterday that I thought I would try again in my own back yard.  Didn't have as much variety as I had out at the park but I like this one.  This is a very TINY fly.  I felt lucky to get the shot (in focus) before it flew away.

Sometimes I spend too much time looking at other people's pictures and not enough time taking pictures. This morning I was browsing around deviantart.com when I decided I should be out shooting instead of sitting at the computer.  Thanks to MrsBox and Mantis17 for the inspiration.  Hit the "Read More" for another one.

Went with some backyard macro today.  Post processing with "Colorful Glow" by Manicho
